We have over 15 years experience of photographing people. That’s a lot of people. With that comes a huge variety in looks, ages, and also reasons behind the need for a headshot.

One thing that links nearly everyone is needing the images but disliking having their photos taken. This is one of our major strengths, we know how to relax our clients, to distract them from thinking about being photographed and to help them enjoy being themselves – it really works, when you are relaxed and not consciously thinking about being photographed, your images become natural, believable and incredibly engaging.

Whats involved

1. The discovery

The most important step. This is where we discover all about your why. What makes you – you? What makes you unique? What makes you different? But also we’ll learn about what you hold most dear in your life, about your goals and what our strong branding headshots can really do for you.

It’s a chance for you to pause, to stop and think, to understand who you really are, where you are going, what you love and why.

This simple and yet moving part of our experience allows you to see and reconnect with even the small things in your life, simple gestures that often go unseen, or even merely taken for granted, but also to look forward, where are you going and what do you want.

Through our discovery calls we learn what is most special and what this investment can really mean for you.

2. The photographic experience

Your discovery experience is then brought into your photography session. This is where we get to photograph the real you, your personality and express your goals and aspiration.

There’s an energy to our personal branding headshot photography sessions. They are enjoyable and fun, natural and achievable for everyone. You’ll get our vast experience guiding you, coaching you to a point of confidence and comfort – resulting in strong engaging headshots that truly reflect the personal brand that you need to convey

3. Cinematic reveal

An incredible cinematic experience. Sit back, relax and be wowed as we reveal your unique, personal branding headshots.

Following on from your reveal is your design consultation, where we will assist you in the selection of the best portraits that will work to convey your personal brand and customisation of your Artwork that will bring life to your home.

We work together to create incredible, bespoke artwork that really will become heirlooms for current and future generations to enjoy, a legacy to love

4. Your artwork

Once designed, your portraits and artwork will be edited and retouched before being sent in to production in order to come to life.

Our aim is to have your artwork ready for collection within 4-6 weeks of your order. Your finished wall art will be ready to display within your home where it will immediately exude all that love and emotion held within – and yes we would love to see a photo!

Answering your questions

For most people, this will be the first time they have had a professional headshot session, so unsurprisingly people have lots of questions. Here are some of the more frequent ones, however, do get in touch if you have different questions of your own.

Do not worry, most people feel like this. We have years of experience working with people who are not used to being in front of a camera and we have amazing techniques that really help break through this and ensure we deliver headshots that look relaxed, natural and full of personality.

Personal headshots can be used for any personal use. They are great for social media profiles, dating profiles. These images cannot however be used for any commercial purpose, such as business profiles and company websites etc

Headshots are typically exactly that, as the main purpose is to focus on the expression and personality. With this in mind you only really need to concentrate on your neckline to just below the collar bone. Avoid busy patterns, bright eye-catching colours and certainly no logos. Keep jewellery to a minimum as well.

Generally, we will want you to prepare your hair in the way that you normally would, except we will want to keep it away from the key areas of the face and also neckline. If you have long hair, it might be worth bringing clips and hair bands in case we need to control it or tie it up for a different look. Makeup is important and the general advice is always to apply more than you normally would (approx 25% more), this is due to the impact of the studio lighting. Try and keep all makeup very matte, oil-based makeup can really cause a shine hotspot. Lastly, with regards glasses, try and avoid those with heavy anti-reflective coatings but if you wear glasses all the time then do so in your photos – we can find ways to avoid most reflections.

A comprehensive professional service from start to finish! The booking process and initial discussion as to what I was looking for was done in a way that ensured we both knew what was required and I knew what to expect at the session. On the day I was guided through the process with ease. I hate my photo being taken but Adam made me feel ‘at home’ from the start and was made to feel relaxed.
