We have been photographing maternity, pregnancy & bump portrait sessions for over 15 years. It doesn’t matter what you call it, it remains one of the most precious photoshoots as we help you celebrate this special time. . Having a maternity photoshoot is a beautiful and often private way of remembering this life-changing time.
We are professional photographers, but also parents – mums and dads. We have been working with women during pregnancy for so many years – one of our team is a qualified midwife – so it’s safe to say we know this genre very well. We always start by chatting with you, making sure you are comfortable and that we are clear with what you are happy to do, some expectant mums want a subtle reveal of bump whilst others want an art nude portrait – wherever you are at ease we can create a stunning range of images – from light and airy through to some darker highlight artworks.

It’s a chance for you to pause, to stop and think, to remember who you love, what you love and why.
This simple and yet moving part of our experience allows you to see and reconnect with even the small things in your life, little details, simple gestures that often go unseen, or even merely taken for granted.
Through our discovery calls we learn what is most special and what connects you all.
Your discovery experience is then brought into your photography session. This is where we get to photograph your maternity, pregnancy & bump surrounded with all that you love and treasure most in life.
This powerful photography captures the beauty of the pregnant form together with the bond between you and your loved ones, expressions, touch and all of the smaller details.
There’s an energy to our photography sessions, they are comfortable and enjoyable for all. You interact with your loved ones rather than awkwardly pose for the camera. It’s just you really being yourselves – but together and connected.

Following on from your reveal is your design consultation, where we will assist you in the selection and customisation of your Artwork that will bring life to your home.
We work together to create incredible, bespoke artwork that really will become heirlooms for current and future generations to enjoy, a legacy to love
Once designed, your portraits and artwork will be edited and retouched before being sent in to production in order to come to life.
Our aim is to have your artwork ready for collection within 4-6 weeks of your order. Your finished wall art will be ready to display within your home where it will immediately exude all that love and emotion held within – and yes we would love to see a photo!
Maternity portrait sessions need planning and preparing for – which raises lots of questions, here are some of the questions we get asked a lot, however, do get in touch if you have different questions of your own.
There is no exact answer to this, most tend to book at approx 34-36 weeks.
Yes, of course, this is a very special and exciting time for everyone, so whilst the primary focus is naturally about mum and bump, it is amazing to include dad and any older siblings as well.
There are several key bits of advice we give, but we will also discuss this with you as your session gets closer. In the build-up to your session please avoid using oils on your skin and on the day of your session try and avoid oil-based makeup – the more matte the makeup the better. Also, avoid any tight-fitting clothes so we don’t have indentations on your bump, and if you are considering a discreet semi-nude shot then we also don’t want shoulder and underarm indentations, so avoid wearing bras or tight-fitting items. For both mum and dad, avoid wearing watches on the day so we can do detail shots without watch strap marks.
Again, we will discuss this with you in detail as we plan your session, but we recommend bringing a comfortable pair of jeans (even if you can’t quite do them up!), leggings, oversized shirts & cardigans that can open over bump, something flowing – like a dress or wrap, fitted T-shirts can show off the bump well, simple little vests that can reveal bump, any items if you wanted to reveal the sex of the baby, name suggestions can also be fun.
